We invite you to a Town Hall where the community can hear directly from LIHD and CWMA about their ongoing work to secure a new operator for the Lopez Clinic. During the meeting, you’ll receive updates on the process to identify a new operating partner, as well as the efforts underway to explore a sustainable model for an independently operated clinic.

A Q&A session will follow, featuring representatives from LIHD and CWMA, along with consultant Jody Carona from Health Facilities Planning and Development.

The Town Hall will be moderated by Dr. Sandy Melzer, a seasoned health-care executive with more than 30 years of experience in clinical leadership, including planning, developing, and operating a 46-site specialty care network across four states—many in rural and underserved communities. He now advises leading hospitals and health systems across the U.S. and internationally. A part-time Lopez Island resident, he is deeply invested in the community.
