Lopez Island Hospital District

Lopez Island Hospital District is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Commissioners. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to improve the health and quality of life of the residents of our community and will be appointed to position #1 which expires on 11/30/2023 (continuation dependent on election). To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be registered voters and reside within the boundaries of the Lopez Island Hospital District. The time requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, a monthly board meeting of approximately 2 hours (generally the 4th Wednesday), various committee meetings of one to two hours each and occasional community events promoting District programs. District Commissioners are eligible for a stipend based on meeting attendance.
