COVID Vaccine Information
I have received questions recently specific to email or text directing you to schedule your second vaccine appointment. These are system generated messages coming from the State and not specific to our local vaccine scheduling system. As a result, many people who have already received their second dose are getting a text or email saying it’s time to schedule.
Obviously this is very confusing and the County has been trying to get these texts and emails stopped. Unfortunately, as with many things done on a large scale, the State is unable to turn these notices off.
Please be aware that if you receive something like the email below there is nothing you need to do. Only respond to messages that come directly from an address related to San Juan County, which in email will be sanjuanco.com.

This is a reminder to schedule your second dose appointment if you have not already done so.
Your first vaccination was: Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine
If you received Pfizer vaccine, your second dose should also be Pfizer vaccine, which needs to be administered within 21 days after your first dose.
If you received Moderna vaccine, your second dose should also be Moderna vaccine, which needs to be administer 28 days after your first dose.
