2027 Budget Hearing: November 11, 2026 4:00 pm

The 2027 Proposed Budget for LIHD will be presented on November 11 at 4:00 p.m., followed immediately by the Regular Board Meeting.

The hearing will include an opportunity for public comment, commissioner discussion, and potential approval of the proposed budget.

For 2027, the levy rate will remain unchanged at $0.75 per $1,000 of assessed property value, consistent with the 2026 rate. However, due to a slight decrease in assessed property values, this rate is expected to generate approximately $80,000 less in revenue than in 2026.

The beginning cash balance for 2027 is significantly higher than in previous years as LIHD awaits invoicing from both UW Medicine and Sea Mar Community Health Centers.
